Despite the First Lady calling for him to be fired and various figures on the right going after him, Jimmy Kimmel is carrying on as normal.
The topic for Wednesday’s monologue? King Charles’ visit to the U.S., which saw the British monarch gifting Donald Trump a large golden bell from the HMS Trump during the White House state dinner.
“Yeah, unfortunately the only bell Trump likes is the Taco one,” says Kimmel.
The host goes on to comment on the U.S. president’s speech during the event, with Trump saying Iran shouldn’t be allowed nuclear weapons and adding, “Charles agrees with me, even more than I do.”
“Wait a minute, how can someone agree with you more than you agree with yourself?” asks Kimmel. “Charles agrees with me 400, some are saying 500, even 600 percent.”
